Delivering Guests to Barbados; Delivering Barbados to Guests. This single idea encapsulates the spirit of Sugar Point. Located between the Port and City of Bridgetown, Sugar Point is to serve as the new home for the Island’s growing cruise business, providing both port-of-call and homeport facilities coupled with an engaging series of onshore amenities. Sugar Point, however, is more than just a cruise hub—it’s an extension of the fabric and vibe of Barbados expressed throughout its public gathering places, shops, restaurants, entertainment venues and cultural attractions. It’s a place designed to encourage use and enjoyment by residents and Island visitors. The total development comprises 335,000 square feet of new development.
