Pomfret Commons Fayetteville, AR

2019 - Under Construction

Located at the foot of the Oak Ridge, Pomfret Hall is an existing residence and dining hall on the campus of the University of Arkansas that is currently limited by under-utilized open space, inaccessible pedestrian routes, and dated infrastructure. OLIN, in collaboration with Miller Boskus Lack, developed a vision for a renovation and expansion of the dining hall and ancillary spaces that will provide a 21st century dining experience that anticipates future growth. The site design takes advantage of the topography by creating distinct and interconnected spaces that provide a variety of outdoor experiences for residents and diners. The design transforms a sunken concrete plaza into a series of dining terraces and a stepped amphitheater that will provide gathering places for campus life. The design utilizes locally sourced stone to celebrate the native geology of the region.

Will was the Lead Designer, Associate and Project Manager for Pomfret Commons while at OLIN.
